Thank you for taking the time to visit the French School of Kampala (EFK) website and perhaps consider enrolling your children there.

The EFK welcomes students from the very small section of kindergarten to the Terminale class (in partnership with the CNED for the Première and Terminale classes).
Thanks to the school’s membership in the AEFE network (Agency for French Education Abroad), students can continue their education anywhere in the world.
Every morning, nearly 220 students from 25 different countries pass through the school gate. The EFK is therefore a school on a human scale and multicultural.

Multiculturalism and multilingualism are the pillars of an education that conveys humanist values. Indeed, from the middle section of kindergarten, students receive instruction in French, supplemented by learning the English language. In elementary school, students benefit from the CLIL program (Art, science, and sports lessons are taught in English) and in middle school, 8 to 10 hours per week are taught in English.

From the 6th grade, students also begin learning Spanish.

Located between two residential hills, the EFK offers a very green and protected environment. The facilities are being renovated and at the start of the next school year, the last rooms that are not yet equipped will be equipped with video projectors allowing interactive teaching.

The EFK is also committed to the issues of its time, for the promotion of daily sports practice and awareness of sustainable development. It is in this spirit that the school has invested in the “Generation 2024” label (with a view to hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024) and “EFE3D” (French establishment abroad in a sustainable development approach).
